arrived Oct. 16 at 2:52AM. She was 6lbs. 5oz and 19 in. long. The birth was amazing, but I will save that story for another day. We are so thankful for our little blessing from the Lord. She is such a good baby and she smiles all the time. Really...I have never seen a baby this young smile so much. All of us are really loving having a baby around the house again:)

Cam is very protective and loves to talk to Adyson. Ahh.. so tired!

I know, I have not posted in forever. My hubby was so awesome and got me a new camera for our anniversary. So, watch out the pictures will be coming!! Here is the girls room that we all love. Bailey is so proud to show off her room and so excited she will be sharing a room with Adyson. Only 3 1/2 weeks to go and we will get to see our new little one in her room.

The kids and I are headed to Idaho tomorrow for two weeks. They are super excited to see their Grammy and Papas and Cousins. Bailey asks me a few times everyday is it time to go to Grammy's yet? We will be spending the first week mainly just hanging out. Cam has a Doctors Appt. and I have a meeting, but that is about all that is on the agenda. The second week I will be working at a Conference. Please pray for me as I am still not feeling 100%. Still not sleeping much at night and my cough seems to have gotten worse again. Please pray God will give me the strengh and energy I need. I will be working very long days, and...I won't get my afternoon nap!!
Please pray for the kiddos as well. I probably won't be seeing much of them the second week. And they won't see their Daddy for 2 weeks. Distance form Daddy is always a little tough.
Hope you all have a Happy 4th! Thanks for praying for us!

We are all super excited. Cam doesn't think he is excited about having another sister but her really is! We can't wait to meet her. It was so fun to get a little gllimpse at her today. Esp. since the ultrasound guy used the 3-d one just for fun. Wow! We are saw her chewing/swallowing and moving all around. Says she looks really healthy. Thank you Lord.

Well, I have posted pics here and there, but haven't really expanded on what is going on in our lives. Now my camera is broken so I have to use my other one that I have to get the pics taken off at the photo shop. Doesn't happen too often.

Clancy is still working at Les Schwab. We are thanking the Lord they have not laid him off permanantly and the store has not decided to close its doors. 3 people from his store have gotten permanantly laid off and 3 Utah stores are closing. Thank you Lord for your provision!!

He is also trying to start his own business. It is mobile mechanic service. He has gotten some business, but it is hard to get something started when you work full time, and we don't really know how to market to get his name out there.

He is very involved in our AMAZING church. He helps out with the music power point, and fills in elsewhere when needed. He is in a Leadership training class that he really loves and joins the elders in prayer every Wed. morning. Oh, and the Sat morning mens Bible study.

He decided to take a year off from bull riding. It has been hard on all of us. I didn't think I would miss going to the rodeos as much as I do. We went to one and it was so hard for Clancy to sit and watch and see his buddies compete that I think we will not be going to many more this year. If the Lord provides health and finances I think he will be back at it next year. Although, I don't know to what extent.

In the mean time he has become an avid fisherman and golfer. A lot safer and cheaper!! We enjoy taking our canoe on the lake with the kiddos.

He is very excited about our new addition as we all are.

I am a full time stay at home mom. I think I can finally say for the first time I love it!! It was really hard for me at first. Now I don't know how I had the time to work and be a good wife, mom and keeper of the house.

My pregnancy has been different this time. I am more tired and was more sick the first 4 months. I am over morning sickness now, but have had some kind of upper respitory thing going on for over 5 weeks. I hope it is finally over!!

We have decided to do a home birth with this baby! I am super excited, but with this also comes more preparation. You can't just pack your bag and go to the hospital. I want my house to be super super clean and organized when the baby comes. We are pushing to finish our basement in due time. I am trying to eat more healthy and exercise. Actually, I had to sign a contract with my midwife that I would! It has been harder since I have been sick. I think it takes more mental prep to do a home birth as well. Lots of reading and mental focus. For those of you that have had the opportunity to deliver in WR valley- be thankful . Those doctors and hospital are amazing places to birth if you want to do things naturally. Not so much here.

I planted a bigger garden this year and so far everything looks beautiful!! I am so excited. This is the first time I have planted one without my moms help.

Lately people like to call me the coupon queen! I love shopping with coupons and have saved a ton of $$. I usually save 50-75% everytime I shop. I don't know how we made it before!

We have decided to home school the kids this fall. I thought I would never do it because I didn't particularly like being home-schooled myself. After much prayer and consulting with Livia(good friend and pastors wife) and others both Clancy and I think it is for the best for our kids at this time. Will we do it next year?? Who knows? we are taking one year at a time. This year we are going to meet at or church 3 days/ week and conduct school with 3 other families. We are really praying this ministry will evolve into a Christian school. A much needed thing in Utah County.
It has kept me busy preparing. We could all use your prayers for this upcoming school year.

Cam is a big 5 now! He is an amazing kid. He is reading a little bit and is very attentive to things. He just learned to ride a two wheel bike so he spends most of the day crusing around! He also started playing t-ball this year. He says he really likes it and likes to go to practice and the games, but when we are there he doesn't have much motivation to learn the sport and be aggresive with it. I guess his competitive mommy needs to just take a chill:)

He loves to go to church! He loves to wake up early and go with his daddy.

He loves books and being read to. He keeps his Bible by his bed with a book mark and we try to read every night.

Bailey is 4. She is still so sweet and innocent. A little shy when first meeting people, but watch out she has come out of her shell! She loves babies. Every morning she asks me to play babies with her. I often find her in her room changing her babies diaper, cooing with them, changing clothes, feeding them ect... She is such a great "mommy". I can't wait to experience having this new baby around with her.

She as well loves church, and she loves to sing. I find her with her little Bible singing to her babies!

She has made many friends at church and she loves being with them. She loves spending time with her big bro as well and loves watching him play t-ball.

I think we will get them in swimming lessons this summer and try to do as much camping as possible. It might be a little tougher next summer with the new little one.
Most of all we love speding time as a family and hope to do lots more of it!

I hope to get a new camera soon and catch you up on all the photos. For now, I hope you enjoy catching up with us!

I am not sure where Cam is whenever the camera is out. I never seem to get any good shots of him. We decided since we haven't bought Easter outfits the for a while we would all get one this year. I even talked Clancy into not wearing "western"! He looked awesome! And you can see my belly at 14 weeks. I went to see my midwife yesterday and she told me I am measuring 20 weeks, but I am only 17 weeks. Oh goodness!!

I asked our Japanese friends to take us to an authentic Japanese Restaurant. We got what we asked for and it was so much fun. Although at times it was a little much for my newlly pregnant tummy!! As you can see we had a very interesting array of food!

We all had such a great time for Cam's birthday. My parents and brother and his family came to celebrate with us. We started the weekend off at Tucanos! For those of you who have not experienced Tucanos, it is a Brazilian BBQ. There is a huge buffet and then they come around with all kinds of grilled meats and pineapple and serve until you say stop. We were all so stuffed.
We had them sing to Cam, and he was not too sure about it:) We love you Cam! Can't beleive my boy is alredy 5.

I had the awesome opportunity of attending my 10 yr reunion for Ecola Bible School. It was such a great time of reuniting great friendships and reflecting on what God has done in my life in those 10 yrs. And, I got to visit the most amazing place on earth... Cannon Beach!! It was truly a blessing to be able to live there for 2 yrs of my life. Unfortunately, my camera died beofre I got any shots with my friends.

Yeah! It finally snowed and now I am kinda wishing it would go away. We have a very large driveway, and we found out if you don't shovel the sidewalk you will get a fine. But... they don't plow the streets here either. I feel like giving them a fine:) Anyway, enough grumbling... we had a very quick play day in the snow at our good friends house. So much fun!!

I have been thinking latey is blogging really safe? I do put lots of pictures of the kids on here and let people know what we have done and things coming up.
I saw on the news last night of someone local that got really taken for on their blog. Someone got on there and got pics of their kids off and did all kids of nasty stuff. Not to mention the comments they were writing.
So, the news said you can never be completly safe. And there are no laws to protect you. The police officer said the law cannot keep up with technology.
The news said the precations you should take are:
Don't post any pictures of children
Don't post any personal info
Don't say anything as to what you will be doing in the future. ie: countdown to family vacation ect.
So, I am really confused. I could just say it won't happen to me. Or, I could take the precaution seriously and protect my kids.
I don't think many people look at my blog anyway. The few that comment I can send personal e-mails with pics. Hmmm decisions..

What a night

The only thing Clancy ased for his birthday was for me to go hunting with him. Ahh! I felt special knowing that for his special day he wanted to make a special day for me. He raves about how beautiful it is up there and wanted me to see the beauty as well.
So, I finally broke down and got a sitter for the kids. It is still hard for me to ask my friends down here to keep my kids all night and then all day. All of them are more than willing, I m just spoiled to ask my mom or sister to keep them.
We drop the kids off about 8:00 at Teresass house and they were so excited to stay. Clancy and I pick up a few things at Wal Mart and head home. We decided to hit the sack early since we had to be up and going at 4:00am. All is fine, but Clancy was complaining of a stomach ache. The pizza we had for dinner was a little greasy so I didn't think much of it. About 10:00 he starts wretching.(For those of you who don't know, Clancy physically cannot vomit. getting the flu is a real chore when your body cannot do what it is made to do.) I gave him the perscription to help stop the wretching. Didn't work. All night we were up. I was on edge praying my heart out God would make it stop. It makes me so nervous. we finally resorted to the supository and 2 hours after that he finally stopped. We got sleep about 8:00 am. I was thinking it was going to be another expensive trip to the ER, but God entervened. Thank you Jesus for the blessing.
Needless to say, I felt really bad. He was so excited to take me and then he gets an awful flu that he wished he could die from.
All is well now and hopefully we will be able to make the trip together before all the beautiful leaves fall off the trees.

We haven't even given the poor guy a name yet, but he is a wolf spider. Another one of Clancy's finds! The kids love it and I am actually starting to like him too. If he gets loose though I told Clancy I would move out!!:) The kids and I go to the pet store and get him crickets 1-2 times a week. We love watching him catch them and gobble them up. The pet store is like a free trip to the zoo so the kids and I love going there. Pretty soon the employees will know us by name.

Clancy and I have decided it would be best for us to move our bedroom downstairs. It would be nicer for our guests to be upstairs and most of all to give the kids their seperate rooms. They seem to not want to go to bed when they are in the same room. So, last night was the first night.
Clancy comes home for lunch and this is how the conversation goes:

Clancy: Hey Honey... I have a good a idea

Erin: Yes??

Clancy: I think "WE" should start sleeping downstairs.

Erin: What do you mean?? I have been moving furniture all day to get us down here.

Clancy: No, I think "WE" should start sleeping downstairs..

Erin: Oh.. Do you even want to hear about my night last night??

Clancy: Silence:)

Erin: First off the dog woke me up at 1:00 to go outside after she had already done her business on the floor. Ok whatever... So, since I am already upstairs I might as well take Cam to the bathroom so I don't have to wake him up in another hour. Thinking I might get to sleep the rest of the night. Oh no... Bailey strats crying at 2:30. I go upstairs again and let her know I am right there and she is ok. Well, I figured this was going to happen again so I just decided instead of going up and down the stairs I would just sleep up there. Sure enough about 2 hrs later Cam comes crawling into bed with me. About an hour after that here comes Bailey and now I am sandwiched in between two kids. Can I sleep any better.. NO.
So honey, I think your suggestion is great. Would you like to deal with the kids and the dog tonight??:)

I Remember When...

Lately, I have really been missing my Grandma Fern. She passed almost a year ago. I can't say that I have ever missed someone so much. She was one grand lady that left a mark on me.

Don't really know why it has hit me so much lately. I think it is the smells of late summer and harvesting the crops and canning. She was always there for all of it. Picking weeds in the garden, snapping beans, canning tomatoes and on and on. As I have a lump in my throat and tears streaming down my face I want to share some of my favorite memories I had with Grandma Fern.

I Rember When:

I would sit next to Grandma in her cozy recliner and she would teach me how to knit.

I also remember knitting some on my own and having to take the 'mess' to her to get it fixed!

I remeber doing plastic canvas projects until we ran out of patterns..

I remember sitting around Grandmas big table and eating the most delicious meals one would ever taste. (My mom has this table now, and I feel the same about her).

I remember sitting next to Grandma in church and hearing her sing. It was not the way she sounded, but the passion in her voice that she sang with.

I remember going with Grandma to visit Grandma Sadie in the rest home. We went almost every Sunday after church. Even when I learned to drive she was brave enough to let me drive her car there. Can you believe I still hung out with my Grandma when I was 16?? I just loved being with her.

I remember eating Grandmas tasty cinnamon apple dumplings! And her cinnamon pickles!!

I remember having Cam and she was one of the first visiters. I still remember her holding him for the first time.

I remember having Bailey and I think she was the first one there.

I remember her helping me out so much when we came home. I think she knew the trials of having an infant and well another infant. I don't think Cam was a toddler yet.

She prepared meals, did laundry and was just there.

I remember when she always called Bailey her Sugar Babe. She just seemed to have a special bond with her.

I remember Grandma at all the special occasions. All the holidays, everyones birthday. I don't think she ever missed one! I don't think she ever missed a Sunday in church either unless she was really ill. I admire her for that!

I remember getting the call the Grandma was not doing so good. My heart sank.

I got many treasures from Grandmas house, but the thing I treasure the most is her Bible. It is hard to find a page that is not marked on. There is a card in there that she wrote this verse on. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 "Be joyful always; pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." She stived for this and is was such an example to me.

I can't wait until the day I get to see her again.. I am going to give the biggest hug I have ever given!!!

EWWWW A SNAKE!!

Clancy loves to bring treasures home for the kids after his hunting trips. So far he has brought them a huge cricket and now a snake!! The kids love it!! I on the other hand would rather he just let them live their peaceful lives in the woods.. A 3 and a 4 yr old can really traumatize an animal. Yes, even the puppies at times!
At one point Bailey came up behind me with the snake in hand. I didn't know she was there and I screamed. I took off running and she proceeded to chase me around the driveway for quite some time. They think it is pretty funny that mommy is scared of snakes:)

Our Sadie dog finally gave burth to 5 beautiful puppies Sept. 10th. They are so cute!! It was such an amazing thing to watch. The kids enjoyed it to and were so excited the puppies finally came. I think they were beginning to think I was full of it telling them Sadie was going to have babies.
I dcided to go to th gym the day they were due. Silly me!! Everying said they would come the exact day they were due. Luckily Clancy got an early lunch that day and came home to find she was birthing them on the couch! YUCK! So, he moved her to the box and frantically called me to get home right away! He saw two more be born and we thought she was done. The vet predicted she only had 3. Surprise about 15 min later she had 2 more.
All was well until I thought she was rejecting one of her babies. Well, she was just trying to move them first to my bed and then to the couch. I wish I would have gotten a video of it, but she woudl pick them up one by one and jump onto the couch with them. Puppies screaming the whole time. It was a long couple nights for all of us. Now she is happy keeping them in the kennel after some stearness from me. I was not about to let her raise these babies on the couch!!
Now if I could just keep the kids from getting in the cage all the time we would be doing really good. Bailey is such a little mama. I found the puppies wrapped in a blanket, in her baby high chair and in her arms getting patted, rocked and lots of tlc. Sadie will actually let Bailey watch over her babies for her!!When Cam gets near it is a totally different story!

Bribes

Ok, so I don't beleive in bribing my children to get them to do things. Altough, I catch myself doing it a lot. I have decided that I would bribe Bailey into staying in her bed all night insted of crawling in with Clancy and I. I told her I would take her to get her toes painted. So far, it has been two nights and she has stayed in there all night!!
Hmm.. Now if I could just bribe Cam into not wetting the bed I might just might get a full night of sleep. I have to get him up once a night to take him potty or he will wet the bed. I thought we were over this hurdle but I guess God is not done testing me!!

Clancy decided to take the family hunting/camping with him...Well, it was more like I watch the kids at the camp site while he goes hunting. It was really fun. All of us were sooo dirty we could hardly stand it! No such luck for finding live animals, but Clancy did find a scull. cam thought that was pretty neat.

We started out the day at Sayaka's with yummy pizza and sno-cones. Then we headed to Thanksging Point Gardens. we had planned on just checking out Discovery park but then got lucky and got to go to the BIG gardens for free. It was such a treat, but I think we were all a little tired and ready to go home at the end of the day.

It is so neat to watch her. She was so shy and timid when we first met. She had only been in the US for about a month. what a shock for a 4 year old. The kids had so much fun! We went to the parade, carnival and then a concert and fireworks that night. What I thought might be a 2 hour deal ended up being from 9:30 in the morning until 10:00 that night. There was so much for the kids to do and most of it was free!!

We had so much fun at the Lindon Days celebration. Cam rode another sheep! Man, he is getting so brave with them. As Clancy was taking him into the arena to get on the sheep he kept trying to get his hand away from Clancy. Clancy thought he was going to chicken out, but instead Cam looked up and forcefully said... I don't need you Dad. I can do this by myself... Clancy was a little shocked I think!

Cam and Clancy had a great time fishing!! They went to Utah Lake which is about a mile from our house. Clancy paddled the canoe half way across the lake. And they were successful. I think they said they caught 8 fish. Also, Cam is quite the photographer! He took all the pictures except the one of him in it. He had to take a picture of all the fish he caught, but I didn't think you would care to look at a bunch of fish:)

So, lately I have been feeling pretty domesticated. Not working for one and being a stay at home mom full time! Something I have not done since my babies were born:) I love it! And, I have been baking my own bread. It is so good I think I have put 5 more lbs on my waste line! I have a beautiful garden that is producing the best tomatoes, green beans and hopefully I will get some corn, carrots and cucumbers. I have been picking apricots down the street and drying them as well. The funny thing is, I think I have always tried to be domesticated only this time I think it might be working!!

Being the wife of a bull rider I constantly feel like we are always on an adventure. If Clancy is not riding bulls he is thinking up other ways to get an adrenalin rush. Or lately...thinking up ways to give his son an adrenalin rush!! This is Cam and Clancy making a zip line in the front yard.

A day at the city spent with good friends

Angela and the boys picked us up and drove us to the 'big' city of Salt Lake. We enjoyed a yummy lunch and Chic Fil-A. Then we went to The Gateway Mall. The kids had so much fun playing in the fountains and getting wet. It was so nice up there. Really nice to see different people. Those of you from Utah know what I am talking about! When the kids decided they were ready to go we went to Ben and Jerry's and enjoyed some ice cream, So Yummy:) Thank you Angela for such a fun day!

We had a great couple days with the Bakers! We had a great time visiting and a great time at the museum. Cam loved hanging out with Alex and Luke. They got along so well! If you are ever in the area the Muesuem is definately worth checking out.

Funfilled weekend

I loaded all these pictues backwards. I guess I forgot what I was doing since it has been so long. We had a very packed weekend. It all started Friday night with the Lehi Rodeo. It was awesome! We had so many friends join us to watch the rodeo. They finally got to see Clancy ride a bull for 8 seconds. They were all so excited. It was exciting for all of us as well since he placed 3rd!! Way to go Honey!
Then we loaded up Sat. and drove to Mountain Home. Whew... That is not a fun drive. But we were all excited when we arrived to see so many of our friends and family. Clancy rode 8 seconds there as well. I was so proud of him for covering 2 bulls in 1 weekend!
After the rodeo we headed to Grammy Mary's and Papa Dan's. We had a short night sleep and then headed to church to see many of our friends. We miss you Brian and Jodi and we missed seeing you Jade and Trish! We had a BBQ with the family and then Clancy and I headed home without the kids! Bailey needed some Grammy Mary time so she stayed for 5 days. Cam came home the next day with our good friend Kathy and her boys.

After the Lehi rodeo they let all the stock into the arena and thank them for a job well done. After all, without the animals we would not have rodeo! It is an amazing sight. Sorry the picture is so bad.

Clancy and I enjoyed an evening together having fun! We actually went on a date. He took me miniature golfing and to Mcgraths Fish House. It was so much fun:0 We tied the first game and Clancy beat me by a long shot the second game. I will get ya next time Babe! Thank you Angela and Ryan for watching the kiddos.

Ok, I know I have been a total slacker on my blog. I can't beleive I haven't update since June 9th. I thought I would catch y'all up on the happenings at the Mummert house. We had a great day at the Gonzales'. We had a little BBQ and the kids had a great time playing on the water slide. They have the best back yard ever. We enjoyed the company of Angela and the boys, Sayaka and her girls and of coarse Teresa and her three kiddos.

Rodeoooooo...!!!

Ok, I am still learning the blogger thing and how these pictures load. The pictures are not exactly in the order I wished, but we had a great weekend!!! Clancy competed in 3 rodeos, Moab, Price and Tooele. We loaded up and left home Thursday about 4:15. We drove about 3.5 hours to Moab! I enjoyed the beautiful drive while Clancy and the kids slept peacfully. We arrived at the rodeo just in time to hear the National Anthem. The rodeo was fun, but 3 seconds didn't quite get us a pay check. We loaded up again about 11:30pm and headed out to find a campsite. So, after driving for a while we finally found a spot. Yes, there were other campers around. Thankfully we were not the only ones pitching a tent at 12:30am! We decided it would not rain and left the rain fly off the tent. It was so awesome going to sleep looking up at the beautiful sky that seemed to have more stars than I can ever remember seeing.
We awoke the next morning and were amazed at how beautiful our campsite was being we found it in the dark! We got some breakfast and headed to Arches National Park. It was amazing! The landscape was so different. Made me want to go to Lake Powell:) After seeing all the sights and getting very sunburned we headed to Price.
That was a great rodeo. Cam has decided he likes to ride sheep. We got him all signed up and he and daddy scoped out the sheep he would ride. It went in the shoot and Cam said that's my sheep daddy. Ok son, here we go. He hopped on with a little squeel and Clancy said grab his neck! Ok dad! The gate flew open and out he came. This time daddy didn't hold him and run with him. He hit the dirt pretty hard, but he didn't even shed a tear. Now he thinks every time daddy gets to ride a bull he thinks he needs to ride a sheep! Daddy was so proud. Do we have another bull rider in the making?? I hope not!
That got the night off to a great start and Clancy ended it with an AWESOME ride. 83 points on a bull named lizard!! He ended up in 2nd place.
We loaded up and headed home. We arrived home about 12:00am for a few hours of sleep before Clancy had to go to work. He got home and we jumped in the car again to head to Tooele.
No paycheck, but we got to see some of our friends ride and help them out with what we hope is not a broken ankle.
The highlight of the trip for me was when Clancy leaned over and asked me if I was having fun. I said yes, are you? He said I am doing what I love: Getting to be with my family and rodeo.
We are having a great time. I feel so blessed God has provided for us to do this as a family. We love Utah and we love the life God has given us!!

I met a lady and her two kids that just moved here from Japan. They are so sweet and I am so glad God put her in my path. I invited my friend Angela and her two boys(Noah and Aaron) to meet us at the park. We had a great time. Syaka even brought us home made sushi! It was yummy.

My sister got this shirt for cam. I think it has jinked me. While we were at the park, I looked up and Cam was hanging from a slide about 20 feet up. If you can't read the shirt, it says 'I do all my own stunts'.

Every Monday night we get together with a small group from our Church. We have dinner and fellowship/prayer. This last Monday we went to a beautiful place called Bridal Veil Falls. We cooked hot dogs over the camp fire, had a prayer time and hiked up to the falls. It was a great night.

Cam, Anna and Aleah had fun playing together.

Again, I am so amazed at the landscape here.

The kids had lots of fun splashing around in the water, even thought it was freezing.

Bailey and Noah were having fun together. I totally missed it, but my friends were watchung them and said Noah kept getting closer and closer to Bailey and gave her the sweetest kiss on the cheek!! Ahhh! Of coarse, I didn't have my camera until after the fact. They are getting to be pretty good buddies.

Cam thought he was ready to be a "big boy" and learn to ride his bike with no training wheels. We had fun trying, but by he decided he wasn't really ready after all. The training wheels are back on!

MEMORIAL WEEKEND

We had such a fun time with my sister and her kids! It had been six weeks since all the cousins had seen each other. That doesn't sound like a long time, but the kids were used to seeing each other almost every day. We went to farm country, had a picnic/fishing day and went to jump on it. I thnk we were all pretty tired from all the fun.

This was the highlight of the trip for me. Gretchen had to make sure Bailey really had lost her tooth just like her!
